If traveling internationally, we recommend you fly into Madrid with a connecting flight in Vigo or Santiago de Compostela.

We recommend staying in the Rias Biaxas region to be closer to the beaches, monastery, and reception venue, however Santiago de Compostela is another convenient option, especially for those traveling to Spain. Santiago de Compostela offers more dining options, salons, and accommodations, but is approximately 45 minutes from the monastery. Depending on the quantity of people stay at each hotel/region, transportation will be provided.

Will the ceremony be outside?

No, the ceremony will be in a monastery. However, Galicia is warm in the summer so dress accordingly. Shoulders should be covered in the Church.

Are children allowed at the ceremony?

We kindly ask that your children not attend the ceremony or reception.

Will there be parking options available?

Yes, once you arrive at the venue there will be an attendant out front to check you in. Please let him know that you are a guest of Stewart/Henderson wedding and you will receive a 24-hour parking pass. Please place this pass on your rearview mirror.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We ask that you please turn off your cellphones & cameras during the ceremony. Don't worry, we have hired a photographer and will have a lot of photos to share with you after the wedding.

Will there be gluten free / dairy free / vegetarian options available?

Yes! The chef will be preparing a variety of options to meet everyone's dietary needs. Please select one or more of these options when you RSVP and our chef will make you a delicious alternative meal that suits your requirements.
